There's a new spot opening up on 9th Street. It will be called Bull City Fiber Loft, and it will be upstairs from Bean Traders. It will be a fiber arts studio, yarn shop and regular hangout for fiber fanatics. Look for our GRAND OPENING (Date tba) but Classes start June 19th!!
The Fiber Loft will create an inclusive, welcoming community for knitters and fiber crafters with a focus on supply, local talent and local products. There will be knitting classes for all levels, beginning spinning classes, traditional felting, needle felting, and dyeing workshops using natural dyes. In addition to commercially-available yarns, we will have "green" fibers such as bamboo, corn, soybean, and milk protein spun into yarn.

OUR GOALS:
- Gathering spot for fiber enthusiasts and fiber crafters
- Classes and workshops in fiber and fiber-related arts (for adults and youth)
- Yarn shop and supplies for fiber crafters (felting, spinning, dyeing, crochet, weaving etc)
- Locally produced fleece and yarn, handdyed, handspun, handknit and handcrafted products
NOW ACCEPTING commissions and wholesale orders of HIGH-QUALITY, locally produced products of interest to fiber crafters. We are looking for local fleeces, handspun yarns, locally-produced totes and purses designed for fiber crafters, fused glass shawl pins, beaded stitch markers, handcrafted wooden drop spindles, knitting and crochet needles, etc.
